Aaarrggghhh...... Tell me you're joking. Not only are topboxes, the spawn of the devil anyway but to add that kind of weight that high up and far back would upset the handling even more.I blame the curling stone rolling around inside the top box
Of course I am joking . No one in their right mind plays games that involve housework/brushes and rocks:lol:Aaarrggghhh...... Tell me you're joking. Not only are topboxes, the spawn of the devil anyway but to add that kind of weight that high up and far back would upset the handling even more.
Oh and......from what I can see, you don't have the rack support arms fitted, so it could protentially be even more of an issue. Actually, I'm not quite sure how you've managed to fit an Adventure topbox to the GS rack. :dunno:
OK but you don't have the rack supports fitted which BMW deem necessary even when fitting a Vario topbox to that rack. Also, there's a reason that the Adventure rear rack which is designed to accommodate that topbox is lower than the GS one. I'd be inclined to look for a used Adventure rack or possibly one of the low-level Givi topbox racks. As for fitting an adventure box to a GS rack, easy peasy, home made adaptor. Handling fine up to 110mph which is the fastest I have ever ridden my GS, but yes I do agree with your views on top boxes. Hate them.
